Seniors Enjoying Group Activity

For Senior Communities

Welcome, lifestyle directors and active adult leaders! We know the challenges of setting up a new activity program for your community and are here to help. Dance to Thrive offers an end-to-end experience by advising on dance class setup, finding a dance teacher for the class, promoting the program through lively presentations to community members, and mentoring on social dance planning. Dance to Thrive is the only company along Colorado’s Front Range pairing 55+ communities with dance teachers.

We'll minimize the effort required to set up an original program, while offering your community members an exciting new way to enjoy an active lifestyle.

How the partnership dance program benefits you:

01

PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT

Karen will set up some time with you to discuss your community’s needs and assess your dance room possibilities (classes take place at your facility for the convenience of your community members). Karen will then give you advice on the type of class or classes that will meet your needs, as well as class size, class length, class fee, and setup suggestions.

02

DANCE TEACHER PLACEMENT

Dance to Thrive will find one or more teachers in accordance with the program developed. After you select a teacher, you will pay the teacher directly.

03

PROGRAM PROMOTION

Karen will help you promote the program to your community by providing a lively presentation about the value of partner dance and your custom dance class offering(s). She’ll have a signup sheet available after the presentation which she’ll give to you to arrange the class. Follow up presentations designed to attract new dancers into your classes are included in this program.

04

SOCIAL DANCE MENTORING

Karen will assist in planning the first social dance at your facility to provide the dancers an opportunity to practice and socialize. She’ll mentor your team and your teacher, who will host the event. You may choose to invite only dance class attendees, or invite all members of the community to continue to promote the dance program. You may also charge a ticket price for attendees to cover event costs.

05

FOLLOWUP & FEEDBACK

We’ll arrange follow up meetings with you to gather feedback and make adjustments. We want you, your community members, and your teacher to be happy with the program!
