For Dance Teachers

Welcome, dance teachers! You may have extra hours you want to fill with additional classes, and working with seniors is a rewarding opportunity to do so. We enable you to join our Dance to Thrive roster, at no charge, so that we can connect you to nearby senior communities as class programs are developed. We're the only company along Colorado’s Front Range pairing dance teachers with 55+ communities.

Senior classes often take place in the morning or early afternoon. Our program is based on group classes and friendly social dances at the community’s location in a noncompetitive format.

Join our list of teachers by filling out the form below. There is no cost to be on the list.

GET PLACED

We will contact you when there's a community in your area that needs a teacher. If you agree to the placement, you will be asked to pay a one-time finder's fee of $50.

WORK DIRECTLY WITH THE SENIOR COMMUNITY

You are in charge of your class. We suggest classes last three months, with one class per week; however, this is up to you and the senior community administrator. You will design your class, set your own rates, and communicate directly with the administrator. The community will pay you directly.

SOCIAL DANCE HOSTING

To provide students an opportunity to practice and socialize, we recommend social dances at the facility. Karen will work with you and the community's program manager to plan the first dance.
